AudioNET Pinata Debuts at Sirens Workshop

Sirens workshop participants put AudioNET's Pinata Production tool through its paces to make radio ads with pictures.

Radio and Agency producers at last week's Sirens Workshop created digital radio commercials using AudioNET's Piñata production tools.

AudioNET MD Dave Cox demonstrated the AudioNET Piñata Production Tool to workshop participants Friday morning, and then teams created their own multi-media radio commercials under the watchful eye of writers and producers from Eardrum creative agency.

"There's always an element of nervousness when you're designing software for others to use. It was essential that Piñata maintained the highest quality audio, text and image standards required for digital broadcast. But it was even more important that it should be very easy for producers and engineers to use," Cox said.

"From the feedback so far, AudioNET's Piñata Production Tool was easy to use, and the whole exercise was a real eye-opener to the possibilities of digital radio for advertisers."

AudioNET is finalising beta-testing of its carting tools with radio networks and intends to have all networks Piñata ready by June 1st.
